Behind the Pink Curtain

The book explores personal memory, Lithuanian ancestral history and values, beet-based cuisine, and diasporic settler challenges in multicultural contexts. The poems were written alongside my research book at the intersection of ethics, psychosocial studies, and trauma studies. They trace the serious psychic impacts of Soviet colonization shaped by the geopolitical isolation of the Iron Curtain and the Cold War erasure of Baltic histories.
